It turns out our next door neighbor used to make this for the Ladies Who Lunch and my got the recipe out of her. I think it was on the back of the condensed milk can! I researched in the web and found a lot of same recipes out there so it's nothing original but it sure is delicious!

Elaine Fisse's Semifreddo

1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk

1/4 c Lemon Juice

2 1/2 c (1 lb. 5 oz. can) Cherry Pie filling

3/4 c (9 oz. Can) crushed pineapple (drained)

1/4 t. almond extract

1 pint heavy cream, whipped

Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl. Mix well. Gently fold in whipped cream until evenly blended. Line loaf pan with saran wrap of aluminum foil (or both) and turn mixture into loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3). Cover with foil. Freeze until firm (24 hrs is best, but you can check earlier)

Mom's comments: I have served this as a salad and also as dessert. Really great.

I remember mOm making this and slicing pieces as needed from the freezer. It does not freeze hard.
