cream cheese in the middle, used miniature peppermint patties. Came out great. DH will not eat cream cheese. I baked them in my 8x8 pyrex dish, layered 25 patties. Very rich, so a small piece goes a long way. Thanks for posting.

Use caramel apples wraps instead, they're flat, easy to use and bake evenly
