It is supposed to rain all day/evening here - poor kids!

I just sent dh a text. It is raining here also! It wasn't "really" forcasted. I hope it stops.
I love to see the trick or treaters! I am sure I told this story before, but dh had a life altering, tramatic event when he was in 3rd grade. His mom and dad ran out of candy!! SO, needless to say, he was teased and tormented at school.... Oh the jokes. Poor guy! Anyway, to make a long story short, we will never, ever, ever run out of candy! dh purchases so many of those big bags, and we have pretzels / pencils for the lil tiny ones. And more candy, and more candy... You get it!
Anyway, if you happen to have leftovers, you may want to check out Carianna's posted link for a candy cake. I have made it a few times w/ leftovers. I use double sided tape, and it is always fun. Can't search for it now, as I need to head out. But, will post the link when I'm back.

Halloween Trick-or-Treating was postponed one full day in this town due to the predicted storms! 1st
time I've ever known that to happen, and we've lived in Columbus, IN, for 37 years. Weather was perfect on Nov 1, though, so things worked out. DH wonders how much longer it'll be before Big Brother changes the date for Christmas!
