It would be great on halibut or any fish! I grow a pot of lemongrass as

well as ginger so I always have it on hand. They both do great year round down here in paradise! LOL! There's not many herbs that I have to go buy. I have trouble with Thyme though. I did freak at the stick of butter and was going to cut it in half. Since I made the noodles also I cut off the 2T. that goes in it and used the remaining 6T. in the lemongrass mixture. I poured the remaining cooked mixture over the shrimp and the noodles. Really good!

Just a note. It isn't worth saving to snack on cold. It becomes very salty in flavour. Such a

great recipe though. I really can't figure out why the 1/2 t. of sherry or wine. I left it out (since no one drinks at our house). Also found that the 'sauce' for the noodles was a bit sparse.

Yep. I did that as well. It was almost enough for me but H has this gag thing & nothing can go

down unless it slips easily.

BTW, my hands smelled like this all night long and I didn't even mind.

It was sparse so I poured the cooked marinade over the noodles and

tossed it. It was wonderful!

O, I tried them at PFs and gave a quasi-recipe, but Marg found the recipe, bless her heart.

What did you do for the lemongrass? Fresh stalks, frozen chopped, powdered? I have halibut steaks thawing and was thinking about putting this mixture on top of them.

Please tell me you were able to cut down on the butter!

Sure, why not? I happen to have 16-20 at the moment but would have

used smaller if that is what I had. Maybe just use more of them? It will still be a delicious!!! And I mean that!
