- I had fun on April fools and made jello in Sunny D bottles ...Kids picked upi the bottles at school and the jello stayed in the bottle, w fragments landing on their cheeks. Quite funny!

- I am working on a meet up with Joanie in Aug.... YAY!!!

- I spontaneously, (Literally last night) decided that I need to pull together a small surprise party for M&D to celebrate their 50th. (In 2 weeks).... I need to clean up the house!!! I decided to purchase platters; otherwise, I will stress!

- Easter eggs are huge in my house.... Even though they do not believe, they still love the hunt. SO, need to find stuff to fit in those silly plastic eggs, we have 100's of them scattered around....M&D hide them all over, and we will find some late in Aug.

- Made some pork spare ribs; marinated them for 2 days.... They were very, very dry. I was disapointed.

- Oh, and to earlier easter thread... It would not be easter w/o Charlies rec of roasted veggies and salsa verde!!! : )

that's some "good" busy!

I found a good whole grain, lower calorie bread for my new sensible eating phase. it's Dave's Bread, the 60 calorie version. really very good and so much better than the Sara Lee Delightful loaf that is full of holes and just not delightful, to me, even though it's only 45 calories. My DH likes the Sara Lee. gah.

I bought some of the Lindt little lady bug and other bug chocolates. I think at Target. they would fit nicely into a few of those Easter Eggs and a nice surprise.

made reservations for Friday dinner at a "new" restaurant. Really a favorite one that moved from our neighborhood to downtown. Haute Quarter Grill.

Saturday dinner might have to be shrimp and grits, with all the creamy grits talk.

a meet up with Joanie---how awesome would that be!

Hope got a haircut

I don't know; I am having troubles w/ pork these days.... Tastes dry. Pork chops (w and w/o

bone) and ribs. Can't figure it out. Tried various types of cooking techniques, except brining.

On a positive note, Pork tenderloins have been good!

Have you tried the "CHEAT" method of cooking covered in the oven and then finishing on the grill?
