It's been too long....

I met Pat from NoCal today, and she made me realize how much I have MISSED YOU guys smileys/heart.gif

I haven't been here in ages. To make a long story short: Two years ago I got cancer, but I was lucky and thanks to great doctors and good friends I survived. Three weeks ago I was in a car accident (I was hit in the rear driving 60mph on the highway) but again, I was lucky and walked out of the car without a scratch. (The car, on the other hand....)

Oh well....a car can be replaced. Good friends and family can't, and I have realized that cooking and friends and family goes hand in hand. So I need more recipes, more inspiration and more cooking friends to see me through my next cooking disasters. I hope you are up for the task smileys/bigsmile.gif

Oh Eva, how lovely to see you posting again! I've missed you.

So sorry for the bumps in the road as well as the bump on the road, but glad you're doing well now. Please continue posting. Nice you could meet Pat, she's such a lovely person.

Sorry for your difficult journey. Hope all is better now and we look forward to your posts

and welcome back to the best food forum on the Internet with the nicest people!

It was sooooo nice meeting Eva, in the

beautiful city of Oslo, Norway where she lives. We chatted like old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. Eva is just a doll!!! You all would just love her.

Back at you, Pat. And the sun never stopped shining after you left, so

you made a lasting impression smileys/bigsmile.gif

Hi Barb,

hubby and I are cruising the Baltic and Mediterranean, presently about one third of the way through our 4 week itinerary. I'm so happy I was able to meet Eva....she is a gem!
