I must have just missed you. Made an apple crumb pie with a butter crust

for the kids today. Crust was great. Shouldn't have used Macs. Too much liquid.

 
Yeah, I know what you mean about the Macs. Try Jonagolds - they keep

their shape and have a nice tart taste, but not too tart like Granny Smiths. I just used them in my favorite "Deep Dish Apple Crisp" with a Mac or two thrown in - delicious!
