It's PI Day!! How could I almost let this slip under the radar!! Here's what I want to make

Did you make it? I think frozen cherries would maybe be a little too liquidy, unless

you drain them! How did it turn out? Looks yummy.

 
Dawn, you are exactly right, I thawed and drained then baked. Also, I could have sworn

that the bag in the freezer was sweet cherries but they were tart so I increased the sugar a tad. It is as good as it looks! I also added a couple drops of almond extract. If you want something really decadent, I think a thin layer of almond paste on the bottom would be amazing!!!
