I am so glad that so many enjoy this cake!

It is one of my favorites and look forward to a chance to make it.

With just 2 of us at home, I tend to not bake unless I'm taking dessert to a gathering. Perhaps this would be ideal for a Farm to Table potluck in October!

 
Of all the rums I've used in this, the best is the dark and spicy.

And I always TRY to leave the cake for at least a week before diving into it.

 
Funny, accidentally that's what my licence plate began with AARGH. I don't drink dark rum but love
