containers.

I'm making a few strawberry/rhubarb crisps to give as gifts and would like to put them in the foil containers.

Generally speaking are the heating instructions any different? The foil is so thin I wasn't sure if it would cook more quickly. Would you double the containers?

For the Once Upon A Chef recipe it says cook at 350 about 45-55 minutes.

Thanks for any advice.

If you are talking about foil pans like pie pans or brownie, I cook in them just

like in a regular baking pan.

Thank you Charley - it was kind of a dumb question smileys/smile.gif

As I say I thought because they were so thin that I should advise people receiving them to perhaps not cook them as long.
Kind of you to respond.

no, not at all. I just use them all the time for things just like that. Handy to have and to

give away.

Hi, Betty! If I am baking in a large foil container (like a heavy lasagna), I usually set it on a

sturdy half-sheet baking pan w/ sides so it won't buckle, but I do not change the temperature....sometimes the length of the baking time needs to be adjusted a bit so I just keep my eye on whatever the baking food item is.
