I tried these hazelnut muffins yesterday with Teff flour. They are so good!! I am not sure if it is because of the unusual flour or just because of the hazelnuts or a combo. I definitely agree with the blog that 12 muffins can easily be made and that the topping doesn't stick too well. Mine looked exactly like her pic. Instead of mixing some of the topping into the batter I was thinking:
1) make a layer of topping inside the muffin
2)use a coarse grain sugar instead of regular sugar for the topping and maybe it would stay put better
