Carve out a deep hole in the middle.
Pipe in baked creme brulee custard.
Top either with sugar granuales or pipe meringue.
I'm going to use the basic CI creme brulee recipe and then use the left-over eggwhites to make Italian merigue for the topping which will then be toasted.
I typically just use vanilla cake mix for this group, but somehow the high quality of the creme dictates better.
Anyone have a T&T moist vanilla cake that works for cupcakes?
