I've just discovered Stretch-Tite plastic wrap after using

Glad for many years. A couple or so years ago Glad changed their packaging to put the cutting edge in a different location and I lost my patience everytime I used it. The Stretch-Tite wrap is heavy, clings beautifully and has a very convenient and effective way of dispensing and cutting. Cook's Illustrated recommended it, it is available in the warehouse clubs and probably cheaper than the other brands. Did I say I love this stuff?

I get it at BJ's and used to at Costco. I've never seen it in regular supermarkets.

I did not know Costco was carrying this again. A couple of years ago there was....

news floating about the media that this product was not safe to be used with food. Costco stopped carrying it. I was so upset as I had ordered a special dispensing unit from the company.
I will check with our local Costco next time, to see if they have restocked this product.

bought it at Costco. I now have a BJ's. What was the problem with it? I lived out of the country for many years so I missed it. I'll google it and see what I can find.

I don't use it in the microwave and if they use it in the CI kitchens, I'm not going to worry.

Reynolds is the best off the shelf I've used - can't stand Glad or Saran.
