I've used walmart delivery twice now

A lot of the stuff is out of stock so you can't order it and then after I've ordered about 1/4 of the stuff I ordered they then told me was also out of stock. But we have been able to get some stuff. No TP or cleaning stuff with alcohol or bleach the past several weeks so that is disappointing. Fortunately we had some in the house already but no re-supply yet. The delivery driver delivered to my garage and I followed the triage procedure from sallybr. She also asked me if she could sign for me so there was no direct contact. And after delivery was confirmed I was able to add tips to each order online so no physical exchange of cash.http://r.wmt.co/v/steve_449

Have our first pick-up order at Kroger this coming Monday -

6-days out from order date. May cancel - our area in Michigan is 3rd in nation for Coronavirus cases. By Monday, spread will be much worse. Thanks for sharing your experience, Paul. Colleen

it has gotten both better and worse here

We have a full house so we are going through stuff quickly and the stores are not taking that into account in limiting the number of items you can purchase. At Trader Joe's they would not let us purchase more than two individual sweet potatoes. I would suggest trying multiple stores for delivery. I've tried delivery from walmart, costco and safeway. Every one of them cancelled individual items I ordered but did not cancel the entire delivery. In one case they canceled everything in my order except some bottled water which they delivered.
I've found that certain stores are better at having certain items. I've been trying to purchase ISO Alcohol for weeks with no luck. Then on a tip my wife got from her local fb group, the local discount supermarket had plenty of it if you went first thing in the morning. That said, I want to be clear that I am not complaining. The grocery workers and delivery workers need to be included along with the military and healthcare workers in the "heroic" discussion. These people are part of the lifeline for everyone. The walmart driver for example, was a grandmother and I felt ridiculous that I could not help her bring my groceries from her truck to my garage.

Used Walmart Pickup for the first time yesterday - very pleased, and I got all purpose flour!

I have not used delivery services or Amazon/Whole Foods, only pickup with businesses I regularly shop with. But I needed Arm & Hammer Washing Soda which is not carried by every grocery store. Usually buy at Meijer but they are not doing pickup in my area, only Shipt home delivery (since last year). I was willing to try the nearby Walmart to get the Washing Soda. The coupon code WOWFRESH for $10 off $50 (also TIMEBACK @$10/$50 for return customers and SAVETIME @$10 off if using app) and $30 minimum order requirement encouraged me to shop. I even received all purpose flour (Walmart brand) and whole milk plain yogurt which I haven't been able to buy since early February. And the produce the shopper picked for me was the best I've seen. Downside, had to wait 5 days to pickup. Colleen
