Jam Bars

1.75 cups flour

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 egg yolks

2 sticks butter

1 jar preserves

slivered almonds

Mix first 4 ingredients.

Press 1/2 batter into greased pan (square). Spoon over 1 jar of jam. Sprinkle slivered almonds on top. Spread rest of batter of jam.

Bake at 350„a until lightly browned.
