James Beard's Cheese Bread

This sounds really good. A nice addition to cheese breads is to saute chopped onion

until very soft & caramelized, drain on paper towels, then knead in to the dough. I had a friend that did this & made the bread into rolls that we made sandwiches with at work. They were spectacular.

 
I need to get baking. Have been lazy. My to try list is the Walnut/Fig Biscotti

from Smitten Kitchen that I think were posted here & Nick Malgieri's Belgian Raisin Breakfast Bread. Now I want cheese bread too!
