but damn was it glorious fun while it lasted.

Tonight's kiss off to 2011 Carbfest: Sauteed crispy-skinned duck breasts in butter sauce, stir-fried garlic snow peas and mushrooms, and DUCK FAT FRIES (yes, handcut, presoaked in icewater bath, pre-blanched, and then fried crispy golden brown as it ought to be done)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last of the cookies and chocolates and they're getting pitched tomorrow.

Seriously, anyone ever frozen Mozart Kugeln?

Nope. No "bad jokes". Just wallowing in duck fat. And what does "pitched" mean?!

After all these glorious photos, you're using the word "pitched"?

Pitched (usually into trash, but I'll just put them in the break room at work and the geeks will eat 'em).
