Thank you for asking, we ahve had some rain on various sides of the island but nothing nasty...

something is brewing out there off Africa, we are watching. In the meantime our dear gardener helped us hurricane proof our house before we headed off to Grenada ...we had nothing but all his bananas in Haiti got flattened...these will grow again and now there ahs been a bit more trouble in his home area and Jamaica is getting it.

I just hope you are all going to be all right. I miss Moin's comments at this time too. Been thinking of her a lot these last couple weeks. Wonder how her family are doing?

 
It looks like Gustav is turning right, right now, to head over Cayman Brac and then more over Cuba.

Let's hope for Florida's sake, it doesn't keep moving that way. But Louisiana sounds as though it still is nowhere near ready for another one.
