and watched the video and want to note that the written recipe calls for a 1/2 fresh Orange while in the video the chef states it is a Navel Orange and a whole orange. Just for everyones infomation.

If you are interested watch the Video.

Also, I have looked and looked for a recipe that was posted recently that used an entire orange in it and for the life of me cannot find the recipe again. Anyone have it? I would like to see it again.

My recipe for the hollydaze is similar to this except no raisins, top it with cardamom sugar and

if the spirit moves me, a cardamom-cream cheese ribbon through the middle. It eats nicely.

Thank you AngAK, no wonder I could not find it .... I was searching for orange cranberry bread.

Orange Bread. Have been making this for years - comes out very good. You can add

cranberries and or raisings if you want.

Bread - Orange

2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp orange rind
2 Tbsp orange juice
¾ cup milk
½ cup chopped nuts

Combine dry ingredients.

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually, and cream until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add orange juice and rind. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, ending with flour. Add nuts.

Bake in greased & floured loaf pan at 350° for 1 hour.
