Thanks - I was going to remind everyone but have been busy getting ready for company....

hubby is out of town so I went to Lowe's and bought ready made cabinets for the laundry room - after 10 YEARS of using what was supposed to be a temporary shelving unit when we first moved in. Got the guys here installing them right now.

I have ordered so much and bought so much but it's going to finally be CLOSE to where I wanted it 10 years ago. After this, there will only be a few things left to do and the 10 year 'maintenance' that we need to start - like painting and new carpet and a new sofa set.

I am so happy. I haven't even thought about what all I am going to fix for the five days the company is here - oh well - guess I'll do that and do grocery shopping Mon-Wed.

 
what a satisfying feeling! good for you! we've been in our 'first house' for almost 10 months and

still feel rather unsettled. it's good to be reminded that you're kinda never done 'the list' once you own a place.

 
I guess it's kind of like you never stop learning, you never stop having home projects....

I am seeing now that I am running out of time and I am going into panic mode and stressing out. I'll be glad when the 17th rolls around. I love my friends but I am ready to be back to normal and then get back to the list this time and get it all done once and for all!!!!!!!!! Not stopping this time until I get it where I want it so it's probably going to run through Thanksgiving or slightly after but in time for Holiday parties and such.

and the other two shows first, just let me know. It would be nice to do something for you for a change!

 
And a public service announce, lol...did you all know that CBS has made the last episodes of many

of their primetime shows available to watch on the internet? Sure comes in handy if you forget to tivo/tape your favorite, or as I did, tried to tape an episode of Survivor on the wrong channel!
