I went looking for figs this week---empty bins in the bulk food section. I'm sad.

My fig tree has fruit the size of marbles. Too late and hot for them to mature, I'm afraid.

I think I'll ask my grandkiddies to send me a flatrate care package and see how many they can stuff

into the package. that might be fun for them. they live in Seattle and surely can pick up some fine figs somewhere.
