Just finished a great summer read: American Cookery by Laura Kalpakian

It chronicles 50 years of the life of little Eden Douglass and includes a recipe at the end of each chapter. The 'snapshot' at the end of each chapter is also a writing technique I've never seen done in a book and I liked it very much.
