M marilynfl Moderator May 14, 2006 #3 I actually preferred her original yearlong blog...hilarious, albeit littered with blue language. I never laughed outloud once reading the book, which felt a bit forced after the freeform of the blog. Of course, who am I to comment? Julie got a book deal, a movie deal, and enough writing jobs out of the original concept to quit her secretarial gig. I've attached a link to the Julie/Julia Project blog. She has a new site, but it's mostly an update/status site for book promo, etc. http://blogs.salon.com/0001399/2002/08/25.html
