Meryl, i also get their news letter and have found some really nice recipes
from them. Have you ever tried their bread mixes? I found out about them from nancys-kitchen.com newsletter. Her newsletter can be interesting at times. Not very gourmet but rather "down home" recipes and ideas.

No, I have not tried them. I am also not a bread baker, although I
do want to try it some day. I also just bake quick breads. One of these days I will get brave and try my hand at homemade bread. I did make the No Knead bread that was in the NY Times a while back. My opinoin was eh!! I have a bread machine, but have only tried it a few times way back when I first got it. I still think bread made in a KA Mixer is the best way to go.
