Just had a peachgasm

I saw my childhood friend this weekend and her brother did a barter with a local orchard for some IT work, he brought a huge basket of white peaches and I took 3 home. I'm kicking myself, I should have taken more, this was the best peach I have had in years! They were so sweet and juicy and cling free, the peel almost came off on its own.

They got a little bashed on my BART ride home so I cut up two into my bowl of office oatmeal. I sit in the reception area and everyone who walks by pauses, sniffs the air and says, "wow, is that peach?"

I've got one left.... sniff sniff

I feel your "pain!" We just had the best peaches ever, I had cut up the rest

that had started to go south. We lost power in the storm for days and they went bad. Had to throw them out this morning. Sad.
(and if that's the biggest woe I have from the storm, I consider myself incredibly fortunate compared to may others around us here in NJ)
