And the company could not have been more delightful!

MCM was visiting family in a nearby town so we had the opportunity to meet - lucky me!

What a fascinating and *capable* woman she is - her career path has been nothing short of stellar!

Her daughter, a soon-to-be high school senior, was lovely in all ways too. And, boy, did she know her food! Like mother, like daughter.

I feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity! (sorry - no pictures. I barely know how to operate a camera:).

Somehow I missed this post until now when my screen froze right on it - coincedence?

Deb was the one who was great and fun and impressive. WOW - what she does for a living is fascinating. DD LOVED the soaps. I may have to order just for her now - forget giving them to anyone.

It was funny because being a typical teenager, she wasn't really keen on this meeting a stranger off the internet deal. But she fell in love with Deb immediately. Instead of being a quiet and sully teenager like she is half the time, sh was really open with Deb.

Of course, SIL was SOOOO upset that we didn't change plans and go to the restaurant she recommended at the last minute after our plans were made and Deb had left to drive down. Maybe next time - I feel there are going to be lots of trips to MI as MIL is worse (memory) than everyone thought.

Ang - not sure where you are going in IN but it took us a good 3.5 hours to get to Shipshewana from Brighton. Somehow some place where I calculated it, it came up at 2.5 hours so I was disappointed at the time.
