My sister called late this morning and asked "did you hear me cussing you?" She was making posole and instead of adding a can of diced green chiles had added a can of roasted diced jalapenos I gave her.

I told her to hold off adding potato until she let it simmer long enough to skim the fat off the top

La Victoria roasted diced jalapenos are terrific. I ordered a case because I could never find them

She said it turned out fine & not as hot as she thought. She should have had on her glasses!

In all fairness, the little cans are the same size & look alike.

She did put mild green chiles in it too.

Oh, I did the same thing... have a can of jalapenos sitting in my cupboard as we speak
