Wow! Lots of tomatoes! I have purchased some, not planted yet...Waiting a week or so. I went to

numerous places; All of yours sound new to me. I wonder if it is regional. These are the one's I purchased:

Patio
Beefsteak
Early Girl
Aunt Ruby's German Green
Supersonic
Red Plum
Rutgers
German Pink
Super Sweet 100
Yellow grape
red Grape

Let me know how the Black one's turn out. I have seen them in our wegmans, and they definitely look interesting, and add a dimension/conversation piece to a salad!

Best,
Barb

We got ours planted several weeks ago - few of the same

I'll have to look them up but Pruden's purple - got those from my CSA last year and they were great. Think I also got the Costoluto Genovese. Almost all were new to me too.

WooHoo - Project Presentation was last night. Exam next week - that's the easy part!

I am going to post some of the recipes and the pix as soon as I get them from a team mate. I left my camera on the table at home - go figure. It was hard work and everything wasn't perfect but the teacher had very little criticism of our work and how our team functioned (because we functioned as a team without any problems like the other three teams).

Pat, they have a wonderful tart jammy taste, or at least

the ones I grew did. One of my favorite things is to make a large mosaic platter of all the different varieties, sprinkle with basil leaves, drizzle with vinaigrette, some freshly ground black pepper, and a little sea salt. Put this out on the buffet and watch the reaction!
