Just printed off a Southern Living Recipe and found this on the page after it was printed out

I have not seen this before and I was a little surprised.

I am starting to see this, as well. I think the Internet is going to be changing

we just got notice today that our local newspaper is going to have an online paper (which is does now for free) but it will cost us to read, and be able to print out coupons, etc. Newspapers are going away....sorry to say.

I would not worry about the recipe you copied. If they did not want you to have it they could put a copyright stop on anyone copying, like some sites have. Silly, because one can still hand write the recipe out. Or anything for that matter.

Not that I would do it but there's a work around on copy protected recipes >>>

You first bring up the recipe on your screen, viewed as large as possible. Next, hit the "Prnt Scrn" button, open a new document in your word processor, right click and select "paste" or alternatively hit "Ctrl+V". The recipe will appear as a printable graphic.

True, you won't be able to modify the text but still, you'd have the recipe. Or so I've heard. Ahem.
