is the tale concerning the rice? Dawn, I bet that mouse thought he'd died & gone to heaven with all those crumbs to munch down on the bottom. lol! You made my day...and aren't you the Dawn who lost a turkey out in her front yard once in January and found and ate it after the snow thawed in March?

Hi Wigs

Carmouse is alive and well and still living in my car, and since I can't find "Decon" anywhere anymore, he will be there a while longer. Last weekend he ate some of the little plastic "connecters" from some costume jewelry I had left in my car overnight. Went to pick it up and it fell apart. I really have no idea how to get him out of there, but as long as I take everything in the house at night, he doesn't destroy anything. Keeps me from cluttering up the car too smileys/smile.gif

The rice story - I heard a strange noise (think helicopter in your bedroom) coming from the air vent when I turned it up to "high" a few weeks ago. Suddendly I was bombarded with rice that I had bought at the store and had accidentally left in a bag in the car afterwards. I assumed he had a hand in that (or make that a paw).

Rice story was at external link. Fourth paragraph down.

Dawn--thanks a ton for the explanation of Carmouse. I had read about Toastermouse so I wasn't even

aware of Carmouse. You sure do have some good, albeit unusual, stories! I love sharing these w/ my husband as he thinks I get myself into some pretty pickles so now I can tell him it's not just me--I know other people who have had odd experiences in life. Your tales are so funny...be careful that mouse doesn't eat through any of your car belts or hoses under the hood--that happened to my niece a couple winters ago. The little varmints can really wreak havoc when they are hungry...Wigs PS: That frozen turkey story is my all-time favorite!
