Otherwise known as Feijoada, otherwise known as the dish Roberto The Brazilian Rat Bastard introduced me to.

At least something good came out of that lying, cheating, no-good, utterly romantic cad.

Here is the list of ingredients: They use meats available to US grocery stores but I remember Roberto emphatically stating Brazilian sausage was the most important ingredient. Oh well.

long grain rice
black beans
bacon
cilantro
smoked pork butt
beef chuck
kale
Tabasco sauce
canned tomatoes
chorizo sausages
pickled jalapeño chiles
bottled orange juice

You make cranberry jam sandwiches...

which are brushed with the cognac syrup, then arranged cut side against the bowl to reveal the layers of cake and cranberry jam. The center is layers of the remaining cake, syrup, and custard. After it is assembled, it's best to let it sit in the fridge a day. Then the whole is topped with the Cognac Crème Chantilly. Totally festive. I decorate with hollysprigs and sugared cranberries.

did a major update overnight including updating both php and the database

I tested before the move and was relieved that nothing broke for the swap but maybe you got something I missed. it will take some time for me to figure it out.
