Just saw "Ratatouille," and absolutely Loved It. Searched for Thomas Keller's Recipe

Thanks for posting this Gay...

I am not a huge fan of eggplant but I planted a bunch of different ones in my garden this year. I like Japanese eggplant grilled, and this recipe sounds really good. I have all the ingredients planted in the garden, so I will be making this later this summer, when I can use all of my own produce. I can't wait to see this movie!

Dawn, I'll bet your home-grown eggplant will turn you into a huge fan. There's no comparison.

My pleasure, Dawn_MO, I hope you enjoy the recipe and the movie (the movie is great).

Pixar does it again! We loved it. Good story, and amazing animation.

They obviously did their homework on the food biz. And on the workings of a professional kitchen.

We loved this movie - and a movie foodie grown ups can expecially appreciate

I'd say it is more appealing to adults because of the subject matter, though it is a family movie. I loved Peter O'Toole as Anton Ego - food critic.

And like Michael said - the animation is truly amazing.

Hair. Animating hair in a realistic and appealing manner has been the bane...

...of computer animators for years! Not only do these rats look amazing, even the little, tiny, fuzzy hairs on the tips of their ears look real!

Woo Hoo!

Did you see them when it started raining?? Wow! Wet rat hair. Never thought I'd give a rat's A**!

DId you notice in the credits, - I think they listed two or three names for "hair duty"?

I can't remember exactly how they were credited, but they had a group of folks who were charged with the hair "stuff" in the movie.

Did they have outtakes after the credits as the other Pixar movies usually do? We couldn't stay through to the end of them.

Michael - did you get my response to your reply re: traveling?

Lisa, I just spent the last 10 minutes finding it. And I've an expecially busy morning ahead of me.
