Just wondering, is anyone else sipping coffee and dunking stale holiday cookies while reading this

today? I'm enjoying some stale gingerbread cookies that weren't pretty enough to give away, but have mellowed nicely and are ever so nice with a cup of coffee. My Blue Chip Cookies are safely at home.

 
I wish. I made those Chewy Pecan Diamonds from the Epi website right after Christmas

and they were so good I thought I might cry when they were gone.

 
I find this so hard to believe Joe, but then, you are in retail and the holidays are killer

 
I've got so much coming up in the next few weeks that I've started the shortbread

hearts. Froze them and will dip just before the 14th. I'm doing assorted sizes and the dollar store had really pretty plain red heart containers.

 
friends were so disappointed that I didn't make linzer cookies, so I'm making those for valentines

They are just shortbread, so I could make them and freeze them now, like you are doing. Then fill and sugar the day before.
