Karen, I roasted tomatoes/garlic in the oven as you do!

Glad you tried it, I have been roasting tomatoes all summer and have a nice

stash for winter. I have never noticed any seed taste in a fresh or roasted tomato. Many times I roast them to use in pasta, along with white wine, garlic and fresh lemon juice. Another wonderful way to use up those tomatoes which are just starting to wrinkle. I usually have a batch of all types of tomatoes, and all colors to do every weekend.

I bought a new food processor last year and it whizzes everything I have tried in it, to a beautiful smoothness. I don't even peel my apples when I make applesauce anymore because the processor just takes care of it so beautifully. Even my older one did this but it took longer.
