Key Lime Pound Cake - Recipe of Bonnie Boland Featured in Phyllis Hoffman's "Celebrate Spring" ....

I made a pound cake yesterday and cut it into slices for freezing~ UGH... I wish I had this recipe

Yesterday, I LOVE the idea of key lime in the cake, I copied and saved this recipe.

Soon as I run out of my pound cake which I cut into slices and freeze for quick desserts, I am so going to make this key-lime pound cake.

Also, I again made your strawberry cake from Taste of the South for an old friend, he and his family really enjoyed it and I made a copy for them.

Isn't that cake T&T yet??

dianncy1964, I hope you enjoy this when you try it ... Same publishers as Taste of South, etc.

Oh, Oh, would that be Nellie and Joe's?? Anything better? We have it in the Safeway here now,

nice, but sort of sad. Was always so much fun to "smuggle" it home to Alaska.
Couple of years ago, it showed up on my Sysco order list at work.
Boy, mixed feelings.
Enjoy,
Nan

Yes, it is!!!

Wow, I'm excited.)

Our stop in Key West was unplanned...we were supposed to go to Cozumel and the cruise line changed the itinerary about a week before. I was disappointed because I've been to Key West twice already. So when we got to Key West, I had not planned to see anything of the island whatsoever, I was going to take the kids parasailing, get a slice of key lime pie and a bottle of juice somewhere quickly, and then hang out by the ship pool the rest of the day. We did the parasailing, but then somehow got to wandering around town for the whole rest of the day, and I literally bought the first bottle of key lime juice I came across. I just went to go look at the bottle...it *is* Nellie and Joe's. I had no idea, never heard of it, and eventually crossed several different varieties of the stuff during my day. Guess I got lucky.)
