I was going to pay a bill this morning and remembered I had put a handful of paperwork in my purse last week. Thought I'd tidy up my purse so pulled all the papers out. They were covered on their bottom edges with some kind of weird sticky brown substance. Started fishing around in the corner of my purse and stuck my finger in something that felt like a big marshmallow that had been exposed to humidity. Used a pen to move it where I could see what it was. Then I remembered. About TWO WEEKS ago, right before I was leaving work in the evening someone had left a pretty peach on my desk. I remember having it in my hand and asking one of the girls in the lobby if she left it for me and she said she thought it was another of my friends. I then put it in my purse, ran errands on the way home and forgot all about it. YUCK!
