When I did my price check, butter was less...has butter gone up?
or it is just food as a whole?
Her Costco price:
Butter, Salted – Kirkland Signature 4-1 lb $8.99 $2.248/lb
When I price checked in what Jan/Feb? it was $7.49 - $1.873/lb
(we are normally a fairly expensive region for food for being in the continental US)
Today I bought butter, it was $2.79/lb at TJ's and I knew last time I was at Smart/Final (next door) I paid $2.49, so went there and it was $2.79/lb as well. However, if I wanted 3 lbs in 1/lb blocks (vs qtrs) the price was $5.99 or $2/lb. These are TJ and First Street (S/F) house brands.
