Lana, what was your final opinion on this chocolate tempering machine?

I'm not into tempering chocolaate, but if I were you and pinching pennies

I sure would not spend money on something so unnecessary to basic living. I have a friend who tempers her chocolate in the microwave...nothing to it. I had a chef tell me once that all those fancy gadgets are a waste of money. If you ever get a chance, go into a chefs kitchen and watch how they use all sorts of products for double and triple duty jobs. They have no time or money for all the fancy dust catchers.
