Our son has a garden plot at their co-op building and cleaned out his tomatoes a couple of weeks ago. He gave me a bag of green cherokee purple tomatoes and they have now ripened. WHAT a treat--just finished a drippy tomato and mayo sandwich on white bread (what else would you use!!). I commented to DS that these are very dense/meaty. Many are pretty small so that isn't too surprising but the one I just cut was a nice size and had very little pulp/seeds. SO delicious==and gone 'til next year. o(
