Lembas bread/shortbread

My new DIL would like a hobbit theme for her baby shower. She is thinking Lembas bread would make cute favors. Seems that should be sweeter than most breads. And we would need to wrap in fake Malloran leaves which wouldn't keep food fresh. Any T&T ideas?

 
There are several recipes for Lembas online.

I haven't tried any of them, but I have put some links below that I like the look of. One of them suggests cutting mallorn leaves from banana leaves, and the link I give here shows another way of making the leaves. You could wrap the lembas in cling film first (though sadly, I could only find red and blue film, not green).

Anna, for our moot, I made shortbread (which stays fresh), wrapped in large fake

grape leaves and tied closed with raffia. Looked authentic, or as authentic as anything Middle Earth can get.

You could also emboss the shortbread with initials or symbol or use a stencil and dust a symbol.
