yet. I'm waiting until Saturday to do more of the fussy stuff when I can be with my family. I am planning on a big yellow butter cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. Who knows what else is in store, but I am counting on that!
This year's birthday was a very unusual one. As some of you may know, I am getting my teaching credential and am student teaching right now. I am the "new" girl at my school, I have been at this current assignment for only 2 weeks. As it turns out, my master teacher's birthday was today as well, so we had a lot of fun with the students trying to guess which one of us is older (me - but 1st graders have no sense of these things), and how could we have the same birthday if we are not related.
One of my students made my day today when she looked deep into my eyes and declared "You must be in your thirties by now!" smileys/smile.gif
