bring wine; perhaps in a fancy bag. I recently rec'd a box of pretty stationary, which I thought was creative. Seperately, I also rec'd two beautiful candles, hand made.

I love Lisa's idea of cute napkins...

Any other ideas??

TIA,

I make tote bags for "green" grocery shopping or for the farmer's market. add some homemade jams or

other preserves etc.

Cloth napkins with rings, exotic coffee, homemade bread or rolls, trivets,

fancy cocktail or serving glasses, mini cheese knives/spreaders, cocktail picks.

I have 2 patterns that I use---they are pieced and lightly quilted and lined.

I started making the totes for our Children's Services to give to kids who are going/leaving foster care or getting adopted so that they could put their personal items into something that they could keep. Then I made some using "foodie" themed fabric to give out as gifts. It's fun to have one in the car for quick shopping trips or for that unplanned stop at the farmer's market.

and they're beautiful!! Was just going to PM you that someone complimented me on it

at the store yesterday. She asked where I bought it and I told her it was handmade by a friend in Alaska.

Plants or potted flowers are nice...I always enjoy receiving those and think of the giver over and

over when I see them. And flowering bulb plants too since they can then be planted in the ground and is also an ongoing memento.

if only they still carried the hunks of white ghiradelli chocolate. I'm completely out smileys/frown.gif
