First, congratulations on your coming child. What a thrill new babies are.

I sent you a PM a few weeks ago but didn't hear back so I assume that system doesn't work very well. I have signed up for a Road Scholar trip next June to Krakow, Vienna, Budapest and Prague. It ends in Prague and I am wondering if I should stay a few more days on my own. the trip only includes 3 days there and everyone I talk to has loved Prague. This trip focuses on art and music although I am most interested in history. Do you have any suggestions of must see places, must eat places? We are staying at the Hotel Petr. If I stay should I try to stay there or is there somewhere else you would suggest. I don't need luxury just basic comfort with a little charm.

Thanks for any information you have time to give me or sites online you can direct me to.

Thanks, Janet! smileys/smile.gif Yes, sorry--I didn't get the PM; I definitely would've responded!

Part of my heart is in Prague, so I do recommend staying and enjoying the city for a few more days. smileys/smile.gif Your trip sounds fabulous!

I do have some suggestions--they're all in a Word doc. If you could send me an email at slatterye at gmail dot com, I'd be glad to add a few more history-oriented tidbits and send you some suggestions. RichardinCincy could also offer some great advice, as he was just there last summer! smileys/smile.gif

Thanks again--
Erin
