Why would you use the same amount of sugar when using sweetened or unsweetened coconut????
Passover I bought coconut to make macaroons, the package said flaked (another package said sweetened) but in the ingredients it said sugar, I used less sugar in the recipe, but still thought they were a bit sweet(everyone else thought they were delicious)....why am I adding sugar to coconut that is already sweet? And now this recipe says use either.
