Losing Steve was a big shock. As I mentioned he was mentoring my son in the entertainment industry.

Well, Wednesday morning we lost a close friend here in Phoenix to a short battle with brain cancer. He was also a mentor for my son, having a long career as a professional theater stage designer. His kids went to our school, and he helped my son design the stage sets and lighting for our high school's plays. He was uber-talented and a wonderfully patient and kind person.

He got my son an internship at Arizona Broadway Theater, where he worked. Here is a clip my son made of a time-lapse he took of himself, another student-intern and a stage designer creating a scrim of Will Rogers for a production of "Will Rogers Follies" a couple of summers ago.

So sad to lose two AMAZING men who provided such rich experience and were so generous in sharing their expertise with my son.

Rest in Peace, Steve and Paul. Both of you will live on in the lives of the people to whom you gave so much.

very impressive and I think Steve would have liked the choice of theme music

So impressive! Garron is lucky and fortunate to have been mentored by 2 great people. I am sure

that the influence was reciprical. I am confident that our friend Steve, and imagine your friend Paul, enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experience with your son; knowing that he could benefit from their words of wisdom.
