Steak with Peppercorn Sauce (this is my very favorite recipe, hands down)

Mashed Potatoes

Steamed Carrots

Beets

Roasted Brussels Sprouts (which ended up being caramelized, but still good)

Dark chocolate cake

I am now supposed to bake something for the treat table at church tomorrow, but I'm too tired. They're getting grapes or mandarin oranges. smileys/smile.gif

Sounds like such a good combo.....lots of veggies too. Yes, I'd like the steak recipe too! TIA

Here you go: Steak au Poivre

The first time I cooked this, I used the full amounts of everything and it was far too salty and peppery for us. Now I cut the peppercorn and salt amounts in half (although last night my husband thought it could have used a tad more pepper). Last night, I used peppercorns my father brought back from Kenya; I imagine the peppery-ness really depends on what kind of peppercorns you use.

Anyway, it's a very simple but wonderful recipe. Enjoy!
