Made the 10 inch cheesecake for the pot luck tomorrow. My question is how do I slice it

I phrased my question wrong. After slicing how do I present it? There will be many

desserts, usually 20-25 people, so the pieces will be small. I thought of laying each piece on parchment and putting them on a large tray but I don't really know.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I kind of combines Golden Girls with my moms. Very similar

Another engineer showed me this: cut it in squares. A few folks get the round edges, but

everyone gets a nice piece, rather than trying to cut even wedges from a circle over and over again because the center just gets messy. Necessary only if there are a lot of folks/slices (I'm talking more than 12).

Cold cake, sharp knife, tall container filled with hot water, towel that you don't mind getting dirty. Dip, wipe, cut, place on flattened aluminum cupcake wrapper, repeat.

PS: I finally bought a square springform pan. Love it just for this reason.

I would suggest plating the slices on their sides...

that way the plates can easily be picked up (vs slices scooped up). The plating can even be appropriately garnished with berries, mint, lemon curls/candied citrus or puddle/drizzle/sprinkle of your choosing for a lovely presentation.

This is what we did for my niece’s wedding. She doesn’t like cake

Served with an amazing blueberry sauce over it. They had a cake for photos, but guests all had cheesecake.
