My only change was that I used Cornish Game Hens instead of chicken. Good recipe. Thanks for posting it.

Glad you tried it. I would think the game hens would work well. As I said in the post

I like it best cold, so I hope you have leftovers.

Cathy, how many hens did you use? I'm thinking of making split hens for my Downton Abbey bookclub

nite. I'll need about 5 hens, split. what did you serve with it? I'm thinking rice pilaf with new peas and asparagus bundles. or new potatoes and peas, or those lovely roasted potatoes with the parsley leaf.

Colin, Ewan and Liam are all busy that night, darn. but, I'm making fascinators.

we'll be stylin'.

I used two hens. Any of those sides would be delicious.

I just steamed green beans and mashed some sweet potato but didn't add extra sweet to it.

hey, those wild hens in her yard have mighty colorful feathers. I had to buy feathers. and tulle

and lace and baubles and butterflies and birds and sparkly pipecleaners and----oh so much fun. I even bought some curly fun drinking straws to try and re-create the Princesses B and E's gaudy hats.

You can always rent "Autumn in New York" and see some fascinating hats made by

Winona Ryder. Unfortunately, the hats had more character and personality than she did, so it's a LONG movie between hats.
