Made the Ricotta Pound Cake

and it was to die for. Served it with strawberries and blueberries and it didn't need anything. Wow! What a great recipe. Is it T&T yet?

 
I seldom make desserts, but this does look good. My question is, can you use grocery store

ricotta that comes in the tub or does it have to be fresh ricotta?

And it sounds as though this belongs in tried and true.

 
I used a tub of grocery store whole milk ricotta

It used all but a tsp of the 15 oz tub, next time I wouldn't even measure. My ricotta was very dry, so I didn't do any draining. It did take longer to cook, probably 15-20 minutes more.
