Made these today: Feta, Parmesan and Scallions Bread Rolls. Very good.

Trying them again later, these are perfect for little sandwiches. A bit smaller

than a hamburger bun, but a little on the large size for a dinner roll. I really like the green onion in them and the cheeses add that depth of flavor I can't seem to get with same day yeasted breads. I'm thinking caramelized onions too. Will try that next time.

Traca thanx for posting made these over the w.end. There were excellent

They should be in tried and true.

So glad you enjoyed them! Need one more person to try before they can go in Tried & True.

DEE-licious! I make 3 - you can put it in T&T now, Traca. I agree with your assessments...

I added 3 tsp. sea salt and it was perfect. Mine also took 25 min. to bake as yours did. My DH doesn't like feta so next time I'll try it with something else...asiago and sun-dried tomatoes maybe? YUM!

YAY! Glad you liked them. I couldn't taste the feta, just a depth of flavor in the dough.

Since DH is feta-adverse, could he taste it?

I was thinking it would be good to add a little pocket of cheese inside too.

Pretty, aren't they?

Yes - he thought it tasted like sourdough. VERY pretty and so tender and yeasty smileys/smile.gif
